The surrounding forests are a source of fear and uncertainty -- in the rare times an invader enters the village, they always come from the woods.

Vagus, unlike his peers, is fascinated by the perimeter. He often spends evenings sitting on the edge, imagining what’s hiding out in those dense woods and beyond. Sometimes Priscilla, one of the ladybug protectors of Hidden Hollow, joins him. They’re both quite fond of these secret meetups.
