Acorn Homes
The walking wood spend their entire lives within the acorn they are born from.
They
decorate them, both inside and out, with found objects and gifts they receive from their neighbors. The more festive villagers change the look of their acorns to reflect the current season. It’s tradition during the first year to build a path from their front door to the larger
roads, to connect their new dwelling to the established network of the larger village.
In Hidden Hollow, villagers often train vines or moss to grow over their acorns, or atop doorways and window frames. It is considered fashionable.
